Job Description

We provide Acute Hospital services across four sites.Our organization has grown in size and reputation since it was established as a Trust in1993. We currently have a workforce of approximately 3000 staff across a wide range of professional and specialist groups.

As an ambitious organisation we are continuously looking for ways to enhance and improve the services that we offer patients. We have recently been successful in developing an acute care collaborative with Guys and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust, allowing us greater service development opportunities under the new ‘Vanguard’ partnership programme. In 2016 we also intend to further develop services at Queen Marys Hospital in Sidcup.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust to appoint a trust grade doctor at ST1/2 level to work in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

This post will be covering a training post and will be one of 11 FY2/ST1&2 Doctors it will be vacant for 12 months from October 2016 until October 2017.

This postholder will be provided with extensive training and experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. You will be a working on the ST1/2 grade Obstetrics and Gynaecology Rota with prospective cover arrangements. The applicant will attend general clinics, both in gynaecology and obstetrics., and specialist clinic and operating List. we will encourage the development of special skills like scanning, colposcopy, infertility etc according to the need of the candidate.
