The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.

Trust Doctor in Plastic Surgery (ST1/2 SHO Level) 12 month contract
Applications are invited to apply for a full-time Plastic Surgery Trust post based in a very busy Surgical Unit within the Countess of Chester Hospital. The post is EWTD and ‘New Deal’ compliant on a full shift system and the post-holder will participate in out of hours cross-cover for Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics and ENT.
Applications with hospital experience and previous exposure to Plastic Surgery are desirable.
There is ample scope for post-graduate study and there is a multi-disciplinary Education & Training Centre on site.
The post is currently not educationally recognised by the postgraduate dean, however the post-holder will have access to all the teaching opportunities of the posts, which are recognised.
