TRUST DOCTOR (ST3+ equivalent) in General (Internal) Medicine and Renal Medicine
(6 Month Contract )

Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor SPR/ Middle Grade in Renal Medicine at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful applicant will work as a Middle-Grade doctor in the Renal Service supporting the Consultant Physicians and junior Doctor Team members. The duration of the post is for 6 months initially, there is a potential for this to be extended but this cannot be confirmed until 2017. The successful applicant will participate in the Registrar on-call rota for Medicine.

The rota is fully compliant with EWTD 2009 and prospective cover.

Dorset County Hospital is a modern District General Hospital serving a catchment population of 220,000. All core acute DGH specialties are on site including main accident & emergency, ITU, CCU, general medicine, paediatrics, general surgery and the Dorset sub-regional Renal Unit.

The Thomas Sydenham Education Centre houses the Postgraduate Centre and an extensive library with computer search and internet facilities.
