Trust Grade Registrar - Urology

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Trust grade Registrar Doctor to a dynamic and forward thinking Department of Urology. the post will be for 12 month fixed term contract with a possibility of extension to permanent.

The department provides all types of Urology treatment including the treatment of urological cancers, andrology, prostate disease, stones and continence.

As part of the role you will provide support to the in-patients wards, out-patients in the Urology centre as well as have the opportunity to observe surgical cases in main theatres and day surgery.

The department is committed to excellence in teaching and training for junior doctors as well as development opportunities

You will be required to work a regular shift pattern including nights with an average of 40 hours per week.
