Unit Manager ( RGN or RMN )

- Location: Oakwood, Leeds

- Salary: £14.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience) £26,200 per annum Paid Breaks £1000 welcome Bonus

- Hours: Full Time

- Shifts: Day Shifts 36 hours

- Contract type: Permanent

We are currently looking for a highly motivated registered nurse to work within a very reputable Care Home located in Oakwood, Leeds as a Unit manager. The home offers Dementia specialist care so my client is looking for a nurse with experience with in mental health. The Care Home enjoys an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. Staff morale is very high.

About the role

- Leading your team, you will be in charge of all day-to-day care activity in your designated unit or floor within the home, including maintaining accurate records for each of our residents whilst consistently delivering the very highest care standards

- You will take responsibility for assessing the physical, mental and social needs of our residents, whilst at the same time building excellent personal relationships with both them and their families

- Creating and developing strong links with local professional bodies, you will play an important role in raising the care home's profile within the community

- It is likely that, from time to time, you will be expected to provide cover outside of normal hours.
