Unit Manager ( RGN / RMN / RNLD )

Location: East Preston, West Sussex

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Contract type: Permanent

Further Details: We are currently looking for a highly-motivated and experienced registered nurse to take on a Unit Manager role within a beautiful purpose-built Nursing Home based in East Preston. The Nursing Home provides care for the elderly with physical frailty and the elderly suffering from dementia. This warm and friendly home is passionate about providing high quality care to both the residents and their families. The home is ideally located in the picturesque town of East Preston which is easily accessible and close to public transport links.

Person Specification: You will be responsible for enabling the smooth running of the unit and will take a significant role in the management of the staff. This involves staff training and development, coaching and mentoring, as well as setting a positive example for your team. Your RGN/RMN/RNLD experience will allow you to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the residents and you will have demonstrable experience supporting elderly service users. Previous managerial experience in a similar environment is essential for this role. You will enjoy plenty of variety in the role, as well as complex and interesting work at a home where every day is different.

Applicants must be RGN or RMN or RNLD trained and must hold a valid PIN. All applicants should be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
