Unit Manager - Stoke on Trent - Care Home

Registered Mental Health Nurse - Elderly Care - £34,000 per annum

A fully CQC compliant nursing home situated in the Stoke-On-Trent area is searching for a Unit Manager to join their professional and caring nursing team, who support vulnerable residents suffering from dementia. The position if for a full time Unit Manager to manage a growing dementia unit which will be gong from 23 beds to 31. The position requires you to work 5 days a week amounting to 40 hrs a week and the shifts will be as follows 5 days per week, 40 hours, x3 8am - 7pm shifts on rota, alternate weekends, X2 8am -2pm shifts off rota s/n.

This small sized unit of the care centre requires you as a Unit Manager to be able to provide a high standard of nursing care to their residents during your time on the main floor, some of whom are suffering from various mental health problems that result in challenging behaviour and learning difficulties.
The home is modern and purpose built, is close to local shops and is easy to get to via public transport.
