My client requires a dedicated Unit Manager to work within a beautiful nursing home in a popular part on London. The home is based near Canary Warf, yet surrounded by a picturesque park, ideal for residents and staff alike to take time out and relax.
The home itself is modern and fitted with the top facilities, to ensure the staff can carry out their jobs to the highest standard. The residents in the home are considered part of the family, and their ideas and opinions are valued when making decisions about the home.
The successful candidate will share my client`s high standards in delivering the very highest standard of care, and have a passion for nursing.
You will be directly involved with senior management and will be responsible for supervising staff and monitoring patient care. The successful Unit Manager will have excellent clinical leadership skills. The role will offer 42.00 hours per week.

Skills and responsibilities for the Unit Manager role:
• Supporting the Home Manager in the running of the home
• Recruiting new staff members
• Management of all staff
• Supernumerary hours allocated
• Ongoing development and training of nursing team
• Monitoring patient care across the home

The successful Unit Manager should:
• Hold a nursing qualification
• Have 6 months experience in a similar capacity
• Be registered with the NMC
• Be passionate about elderly care
• Have satisfactory references

• Management qualification desirable
