We are recruiting for a VQ Assessor to join our team who currently deliver over 1,500 days of quality training per year, covering West Midlands, Coventry, Leicester and surrounding areas. We promote the continuing development of the staff that work in our organisation and hold an Ofsted 'Good' rating and are Health Investors Specialist Care Provider of 2016.
This post is key to the development of the group in terms of meeting and exceeding national training requirements and promoting standards of excellence within our service provision in West Midlands.
If you are a highly motivated confident person with a good understanding of the VQ/QCF Diploma process, this could be the role for you! Supporting our employee's on QCF Diploma & Apprentice programmes and managing your own learner caseload you will be working with some autonomy but under guidance and supervision. You will have good communication, time management skills and have the ability to motivate and develop others.
In order to provide a consistent approach within our employee development function, you will be required to attend meetings both with the internal team and external regulatory bodies. The role includes working with the Operational Teams to promote high standards of learning and development including e-learning. You will help to ensure a safe working environment for staff which complies with Health and Safety legislation and National Minimum Standards.
Assessor qualification A1/TAQA (or equivalent)
Registered Nurse, Level 3 in Health & Social Care to assess
Ideally a teaching qualification in PTTLS.
As this post involves commuting within a defined geographical area, the post holder will hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
