Job Advert Location Description

Conquest Lodge is a community resource providing assessment and support for up to 19 adults living with either a primary learning disability diagnosis and possible complex conditions, or complex mental health support needs.

Some individuals also have difficulty with communication or present behaviours that challenge, as well as a range of other conditions such as epilepsy or Down’s syndrome.

Job Advert Role Description

We have full and  part time night work supporting people to a high standard 9pm to 9am. You will be an enthusiastic person who can support people in a person centred way, providing a calm environment whilst completing various night tie tasks. You will have good comunication skills, be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be provided with full training and regular supervisions and staff benefits such as child care vouchers, just drive scheme etc

Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.
