We are seeking a capable and dynamic Ward Manager to lead our client’s team at their small acute Mental Health Unit, based on farmland just outside the exburban town of Potter's Bar, Hertfordshire, just off the M25.
This is a full-time post but our client is open to hearing from candidates seeking to negotiate a part-time opportunity.

Treatment programmes aim to reduce mental health presentations and issues, with the aim of managing risk and allowing service users to regain greater independence.
The Ward Manager will provide clinical and professional leadership to ensure wards meet or exceed quality standards and are run effectively. The successful candidate will use their extensive healthcare background to resolve issues with tact and skill as they arise.
Registered Mental Health Nurse with (or eligible for) full registration with the NMC.
Extensive Mental Health experience of at least five years, with Senior Staff / Charge Nurse experience and some managerial responsibilities.
Confident and forward-thinking leader with excellent organisation and people management skills.
Experience in teaching/ training junior staff.
Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act and CQC guidelines.
