Ward 32 and The Wells Suite are situated within Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. The operational plan provides accommodation for 20 NHS medical beds and a private patient ward for 9 patients with a small outpatient department. We ensure high quality care is delivered in a safe, controlled and measured environment.
You must have a minimum of 2 years experience at band 6 or be an existing band 7. Experience will have included the leadership of other staff and knowledge preferably from acute surgical care.
The key responsibilities of the Ward Manager include-
Effective patient care management
Ensuring and further developing standards of care
Ensuring safe provision of governance
Provision of quality services and operational efficiency
Effective staff management
Budgetary and resource management
Passion for the nursing agenda
