Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Housekeeper on POU. This person will work closely with the Ward Nursing and Multidisciplinary Teams and all our PFI Partners.

The Pulmonary Oncology Unit is a 17 bed unit where patients receive chemotherapy and palliative care for Lung cancer and mesothelioma. Also respiratory disorders and some medical patients

The role is focused on the delivery of high quality care, ensuring the comfortable and safe environment for the patient.

The duties are varied and involve direct non-clinical and patient contact. The role requires you to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to function well within a team environment.

A comprehensive training package will be available with the post. Academic qualifications are not essential, although applicants should be able to demonstrate satisfactory communication skills, both verbal and in writing. Basic keyboard skills and experience working at a supervisory level would be an advantage.
