Salary: £26,500 TO £36,800 per annum
Description: This outstanding hospice was opened in December 1996 and provide palliative care and support for patients and their families living in central Surrey.
Person Specification: As the Ward Sister you will deliver a high quality specialist palliative care service to terminally ill patients and to provide care for families, carers and those close to them.

Aims of Role
To deliver proficient, professional and managerial leadership to staff.
To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care.
To supervise and develop the knowledge and skills of junior staff.
To deputise for the Ward Manager and to be the ward representative in her absence.
To have 24 hour responsibility of the unit supporting the Ward Manager.
To initiate / facilitate developments in nursing practice in partnership with the Ward Manager.
To promote a relaxed and informal atmosphere in the hospice whilst maintaining a professional safe environment for patients, relatives and staff.
