At Turning Point, we support people with learning disabilities across the UK. As a Wellbeing and Community Navigator, you’ll make a real difference as you provide information, advice and facilitation to people with a learning disability in South Warwickshire. You’ll contribute to their wellbeing by enhancing community life and inclusion, providing prevocational employment support and improving physical health.
Activity will take place in a variety of community settings where people can access a Hub, “pop up” hub and other appropriate outreach venues. Activity will also be through accessible alternatives to face to face contact via the telephone or on-line. The Wellbeing and Community Navigator will also provide signposting information to family carers.
The wellbeing hubs and pop hubs/ outreach will reach in excess of 200 people with a learning disability across South Warwickshire, the role will require flexible and mobile working and will require a self-driven, motivated and connected individual who can adapt with and contribute to the development of the Wellbeing model going forward.
