Trust Grade Doctor ST3-8 Level in Cardiology
There are three full time posts for a Trust grade Doctor ST3-8 level at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust (WHHT).
These new posts have been developed to support our expanding Cardiology department.
The post holder will work as part of the West Hertfordshire Cardiology Department. Whilst currently not part of the formal Deanery Training Programme, this post offers an excellent training opportunity to junior doctors that have completed their core medical training and plan a career in Cardiology. It will involve treatment of in-patients and out-patients and training in all main aspects of cardiology (echocardiography, CT coronary angiography, cardiac MRI, interventional cardiology and implantation of permanent pacemakers). For more experienced applicant there is potential for training in electrophysiology and implantation of complex devices.
This post can be taken up as a fixed term (2-3Yrs) option or as a permanent option.
