Care Principles provides specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with challenging behaviour associated with learning disabilities, personality disorders and autistic spectrum disorders.

With the work and guidance of our senior clinical teams, many of whom are internationally recognised for their expertise, we are redefining the care, management and treatment of our patients and residents.

We look for, and see, the positives within each individual and help them gain the skills and confidence to modify their behaviour as they make their journey towards greater independence and a better quality of life.

The Team

At each facility there is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for all aspects of patient care. This team includes consultant psychiatrists, consultant clinical psychologists, registered nurses (RMN / RNMH / LD D Grade equivalent and above), social workers and care staff.

Teachers, therapists, session leaders and activity co-workers provide a comprehensive daily therapeutic programme, and dieticians, physiotherapists and speech therapists also provide services as required. These services are supported by a dedicated team of administrative and ancillary staff.
