NSE is the largest medical charity for epilepsy in the UK. We provide information and support to people affected by epilepsy and professionals. We also provide care for people with epilepsy through medical, residential and rehabilitation services.
Benefits of working at NSE
The National Society for Epilepsy is based in a pleasant rural location, 25 minutes from central London. There is plenty of free parking on site. For staff who live in Slough, there is a subsidised bus service.
Wherever possible we provide subsidised single accommodation for employees. This is offered in a range of purpose-built multi-occupancy or sole occupancy units, based in and around the Chalfont site, convenient both to work and local amenities.
NSE offers competitive salaries and our annual leave entitlement is generous. Grades two to five have 23 days annual leave. This rises to 27 days after five completed years service. Grades six and above have 27 days annual leave. A pension scheme is also available to staff.
Childcare vouchers are available to parents to help with the cost of looking after their children while they are at work.
We have a well-established training department and can provide a wide range of learning opportunities both on and off the job. These include in-service courses as well as NVQs that are provided and encouraged through NSE’s own centre for NVQs.
