Who We Are –New Horizons Care Limited provides specialist home support for people with neurological conditions. This includes people who have had a head injury, a stroke, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, or some other condition affecting their central nervous system.
What Our Staff Do –
Our carers usually work with a single client. They provide daily support in health, personal or social care needs. Their support enables our clients to lead fulfilled lives and progress through their rehabilitation.
What Hours They Work –
Many of our clients need substantial care, up to 24 hours per day. As a consequence, we need staff during the daytime, at nights and weekends. These lengthy periods of support mean that we can usually allocate shifts to the times carers wish to work.
How We Support Our Staff –
New Horizons Care allocates a Case Manager who looks after each client and their care team. He regularly meets with each member to discuss their needs and future career ambitions. He arranges their training with one of our specialist staff or an external organisation. The company fully funds all NVQ training.
