The Branksome Park Care Centre

We believe that people have the right to access expert and professional care whilst maintaining freedom of choice and personal dignity. It is our intention to deliver this care in safe, hygienic and welcoming surroundings. All aspects of care will be offered and maintained at the highest standards possible.

The home is a purpose built 60-bed care centre offering nursing care to groups of people living in clusters of 10-15. It is set in the exclusive residential area of Branksome Park on a quiet private road near to the local church. There are shops, library and restaurants and access to the beach within one mile. The home enjoys an open door policy and many of its rooms have doors onto the extensive gardens, with a large variety of mature shrubs and a less formal wooded area. There is a very pleasant courtyard area which is accessible from some of the ground floor bedrooms and from the public areas of the home.

The home is owned by Clare and Andrew Tredrea. The daily running of the home is carried out by Clare Tredrea who is a Registered General Nurse, and Sarah Hughes, Head of Care. All the staff are highly motivated and are encouraged to undertake training to increase their interest and knowledge. The home supports Bournemouth University in its training of student nurses.
