Our client, a leading provider of healthcare services, have around 18,000 homes for more than 30,000 people across the UK. They work in partnership with local authorities, organisations and residents to create safe, sustainable communities. They are currently seeking two part time activities co-ordinators to join their 33 bed nursing home with dementia care.
You will need to be familiar with working in a elderly setting, ideal with clients suffering with dementia. You be committed to high quality care and able to work effective as part of the care team to improve the quality of life of older people within care services. You will be confident when communicating with group to lead activites organised on a daily at weekly basis. You will be responsible for managing your own time to create activities rotas based on residents interests.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of six months experience of working within a similar environment, ideally holding or working towards NVQ2/3 and having experience of organising resident activities within a care home setting. In return you will receive a generous salary and benefits package along with ongoing training and career development. One role is 25 hrs mon-fri and one role is 10hrs sat & sun.
