Our client are a leading healthcare organisation specialising in the care of the elderly through a national network of Nursing and Residential Care Homes and Community Care Services. They are seeking an innovative peripatetic / trouble shooting manager to fill a rare opportunity that has arisen with their organisation.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate they can successfully balance the demands of providing line management support and direction to homes managers as well as contribute to corporate initiatives and policy development. You will be able to evidence having successfully managed a quality care service and have a proven track record in improving care home ratings. Homes are mainly based in the northern area's of the UK but travel to the few homes in the south will be expected.
You will need to be an excellent communicator with strong leadership skills. A formal care qualification (in social work, nursing or an allied profession) along with a recognised management qualification. Evidence of personal and professional development is essential, as is previous experience within a similar role. This role will cover the groups homes across the UK.
