My client based in London is looking for a Clinical Trainer to work at a number of their hospitals in London.
You will provide a strategic training approach across the London Region that identifies opportunities to generate consistency, efficiencies and best practice within the service offering. The role will also include practical training delivery and co-ordination as required across the region and in the local hospital environments.
Duties
• Deliver current Corporate Nursing Programmes including the HCA Foundation Programme (Ward & Theatre), HCA extended modules, Return to Practice and Theatre initiatives.
• To drive mentor recruitment in region to enable the Nursing programmes to take place.
• To ensure that mentors have the relevant qualifications and information to perform mentoring duties effectively.
• To track and monitor the status of mentor numbers in region and provide solutions where required.
• Provide CPD plan for Registered Nurses as a Development and Retention aid.
• Support the Regional DoN to provide a business plan that demonstrates how all the training provided / planned meets the commercial requirements of the region.
• Conduct clinical training needs analysis across all hospitals in region.
The ideal candidate will be a Clinical Trainer/Educator and have a Diploma or degree qualification: General Nursing, Theatre Background (Desirable!)
A “Practice Education” qualification or one year diploma equivalent.
