My client, a major provider mental health care services, is currently recruiting for a Deputy Charge Nurse for their unit in Derbyshire.
As Deputy Charge Nurse, you will support the Charge Nurse in providing effective clinical leadership to the nursing team in the delivery of contemporary forensic nursing care. Key duties include supervising and monitoring the Care Programme Approach, pre-admission assessments of prospective patients, leading the staff nurse team in the absence of the Charge Nurse, and other managerial and professional duties.
You will be RMN/RNLD qualified, with at least 2 years forensic psychiatric experience at Senior Nurse level. Experience of working with service users with learning disabilities as well as mental illness would be an advantage.
