Director of Nursing required for Private Hospital in Hertfordshire. Excellent opportunity to work within a nationwide diverse and dynamic healthcare organisation providing a secure and step-down service for range of mental health services.
Salary: £58k pa
Hours: 37.5 hour per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Responsibilities:
• To provide operational leadership in the delivery of the highest quality Nursing Services
• To ensure systems are designed, implemented and monitored to ensure efficient clinical and financial performance
• To advise, support, educate and develop senior nursing personnel
• To set standards for the services, reflecting the business objectives
• To attain and maintain high profile leadership in areas of service governance and corporate governance.
Key Objectives:
• Professional and managerial responsibility for the performance of Nursing Services
• Ensuring the environment is safe and secure
• CPD for all staff.
• Ensure that the CQC standards are adhered to
• Ensure that the NHS contract requirements are adhered to
Qualifications and Experience:
• RMNH/RNLD
• Post graduate qualification at Masters/Degree level relevant to healthcare (desirable)
• Management qualification (MBA or equivalent preferred/desirable)
• Registered Nurse
• 10 years post qualification experience
• Operational management experience
• Exposure to both internal and external planning and decision making
• Budgetary and financial management
• Strategic planning/commissioning of services
• Project Management
