Priscilla Wakefield House is an award winning (winner of the Pinders Health Care Design Awards 2008 in the ‘Best Development, Contemporary Design’ category), purpose built 112 bedded nursing home primarily for elderly frail residents and those with dementia needs.
The home is split into five self contained specialist units, further information on the Home is available at www.priscillawakefieldhouse.co.uk. The successful candidate will play a vital role in turning this service into the company’s flagship home; by assuming full operational responsibility for this newly opened home.
Your task will be to ensure the home is delivering the best possible quality of care and thus developing a reputation for excellence whilst building up the homes occupancy levels. You will be supported by a marketing team to ensure the marketing campaigns are effective in achieving referral enquiries and thus the home’s occupancy levels grow as planned.
This is a complex and challenging role, but we feel it is hugely rewarding too. The ideal candidate will be RGN/ RMN qualified, and will have a minimum of three years experience of senior management, ideally in a large 80 plus beded establishment. You need to be a highly organised, charismatic and motivated individual with a real drive to succeed and make things happen. You will be a self reliant problem solver and possess a proven track record in the successful management of Nursing Home services
