Healthcare assistants required in the following areas Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
VP has been awarded a several contracts within the NHS and private secure units in the East Midlands. We are currently recruiting healthcare assistants and qualified nurses, RMN’s and RNLD’s to work within secure units with clients with brain injuries, mental health issues and learning disabilities. We also have opportunities to work within the community with clients with brain injuries, mental health issues and learning disabilities.
Six months previous experience within mental health, brain injury or learning disabilities is essential. Applicants should be very much a people person, with good interpersonal and communication skills. Control and Restraint training is an advantage but training is available.
Duties will include all aspects of patient care, including dealing with challenging behavior. A full induction is given, covering health and safety, adult protection and all mandatory training. Successful applicants will be required to provide an enhanced CRB disclosure.
