Our client an established private healthcare provider is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse Adviser for their offices in Greenock, Scotland.

They are one of the world’s largest, most dynamic health care companies, with a reputation for excellence and innovative practices.

Occupational Health and the need to maintain and improve standards by keeping healthy, efficient staff happily at work is an increasingly important area for many of their clients.

To achieve this you will ensure that the right expert resources are applied at the right time with the ultimate goal of returning a fit employee to work as soon as possible.

Your role will take responsibility for the effective absence management and caseload organisation of specific clients.

This will involve carrying out initial evaluation and assessment of any medical, social, domestic or workplace reasons for absence as well as liaising with employee, employer, specialist and other providers to determine correct treatment pathways.

Extended responsibilities include overseeing onsite OH activity such as health surveillance; screening and you will take on lead nurse accountability for one or more key clients.

They are seeking an experienced OHA with excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with the ability to make sound clinical decisions about patient care. A self motivated individual with a proactive approach to absence management, you will have the ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
