Medacs Healthcare are currently recruiting for an Outpatients Manager in North Middlesex.
Minimum Qualifications:
Registered General Nurse Level 1
ENB 998
Evidence of post registration qualifications
Description
To demonstrate a consistently high standard of nursing care working in partnerships with the other sisters
To provide clinical leadership, managerial direction and to be a resource to all colleagues in the department
To lead, develop and effectively manage the pre admission and discharge planning liaison services
To promote and safeguard the well being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors
To provide effective leadership and management of the department with the support of the Clinical Nurse Managers
To assist senior staff in the management of the Hospital
Be committed to staff support and development
Qualifications/Experience:
Essential
Valid NMC Registration
Registered Nurse level 1
Evidence of professional development within scope of PREPP
ENB 998 or equivalent
Surgical experience and experience within outpatients setting
Desirable
D32/33 NVQ Assessor’s Course
Post registration nursing qualification
Private Sector nursing experience desirable.
Skills:
Essential
Knowledge of NMC Professional Codes and an awareness of Hospital Policies and Procedures
Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Articulate and knowledgeable about current health care issues
Evidence of competency in area of practice
Leadership and management skills
Desirable
Advanced Life Support Provider
Have an understanding of the private health care culture
Understand customer care
