Our client is a national healthcare organisation specialising in care services for the elderly. They currently have over 25 nursing and residential services across the UK that all benefits from close links with the local community and support groups. Due to an increase on the focus of Dementia care within the organisation they are currently seeking a Dementia Specialist to join their team.
Main duties will involve implementing dementia care strategies to ensure the best quality care and support for clients suffering differing degree's of dementia across all the groups homes. It will also involve hands on staff training and have a strong focus on improving dementia awareness within the group.
Candidate will be nurse qualified, ideally with a dementia qualification. You will have a exceptionally strong background in dementia care and have previously implemented dementia care strategies within a similar environment. This role will include UK wide travel and overnight stays.
