Exciting and challenging opportunity for a Registered General Nurse to work within a specialist care home with nursing.
Based in Hertfordshire, you will be working within a specialist nursing home catering for Adults with varying needs ranging from brain injury, motor neurone disease, stroke rehabilitation and associated physical or cognitive disabilities. You will be required to act as a key worker for a group of residents ensuring that nursing and care needs are met. Additional responsibilities will include administration of medication, management of clinical areas and ensuring that all needs of service users are met including on occasion assistance with personal care. Other duties will include contributing to resident and relatives meetings and involvement in multi-disciplinary care.
Applicants must be a first level Registered General Nurse and hold a valid and up to date NMC PIN number. Previous experience with this service user group is desirable; however, the company pride themselves on their training programme for all staff members.
This is a full time role of up to 44 hours and can be either long days or night duties depending on preference; in return there is a competitive salary of up to £25700 per annum available. In addition, the company provide out of hours enhancements, pension and healthcare scheme and a bonus scheme.
