Spire Washington Hospital offers comprehensive private hospital services to patients from the North-east of England, including Sunderland, Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne & Northumberland.

Main responsibilities:
To assess patients' health and wellbeing acorss a complex changing caseload, assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs and provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information whilst developing your own knowledge and skills and that of others.

Working hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (rotating shift pattern)

Salary:
The salary for these positions are dependent on experience and are competitive with other Private Healthcare providers and you will also be eligible under the Spire Employee Participation Scheme to receive an annual bonus.

Qualifications & Training:
RGN level 1 with surgical experience and evidence of professional development.

Experience:
Surgical experience preferred but not essential

Skills & Behaviours:
We are looking for experienced nurses preferably with surgical experience to work within the Ward Team providing high standards of effective clinical care for a wide range of disciplines on our two wards. You will monitor and maintain a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for patient, staff and visitors. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and delivering effective clinical care.
