Hays Healthcare are currently recruiting for a temporary Scientific Assistant for a job in London. Our client is looking for a Scientific Assistant to be part of Public Health Policy and Guidance team as well as the Engineering, Science and Environment Team of Estates and Facilities.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Attend, liaise and support the Departmental advisory and consultative committees.
• Support the observation and monitoring of trials of the NICE Nov ’06 and GREFD HTM 01-01 Part B guidance implementation by selected centres specialising in neuro and p/o procedures
• Support the PSA in monitoring research and development, monitoring new evidence and technologies as well as working to create policies and guidance.
• Play a role in consultation with key professional, learned and public stakeholders
• Be part of extended multi-disciplinary team working with scientists, clinicians, engineers and public health specialists
• External collaborations with specialist research groups on scientific research, technology development and healthcare based applications
All applicants must
• Have qualification in Science related to Healthcare
• Membership of professional body
• Have understanding of infection control issues and HCAI legislation
• Be eligible to work in the UK
