An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a Sister to work with the Senior Sister to lead and manage the Team on Level 3 and Level 4. The role will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to demonstrate his/her decision making qualities alongside the ability to be a clear role model to clinical staff.

The successful candidate will rise to the challenging roles and responsibilities set before them working with Senior Sister to:
. Develop practice in the assessment of health and well being needs.
. Develop practice in addressing individual¿s health and well being needs.
. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
. Develop own knowledge and practice and assist others to continually professionally develop
. Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security.
. Develop and improve services on the wards
. Improve quality using the Clinical Scorecard standards as a Benchmark
. Support and enable equality, diversity and rights.
. Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
. Delegate work to others.
. Determine the effective use of efficient use of physical and financial resources.
. Undertake Human resource activities for all members of the team.

Working hours:
Internal rotation, full time preferred

Qualifications & Training:
RGN, Teaching and assessing qualification and management and leadership course required

Skills & Behavious:
An ability to listen and communicate effectively with team members and other areas of the hospital is an essential requirement. An excellent role model and strong clinical leadership is also essential alongside the ability to build team spirit
