A rare opportunity has arisen at a superb nursing home in the Harrogate area. Our client is a national charity providing specialist care for older people, and rehabilitation for younger adults with physical disabilities.
The home has an excellent reputation in the area and a very good CQC report. The vacancy has arisen due to internal promotion and our client is seeking a first class manager to maintain the very high standards set by the home.
The service is registered to provide nursing, residential and dementia care to older people and also has specialist facilities which enable the provision of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to younger adults.
Duties of the role will be the day to day management of the home, to include:
- development and delivery of best clinical practice
- ensuring high standards of care
- compliance with current legislation
- ensuring safety and well being of residents at all times
- meeting budget targets and ensuring compliance with Charity's policies
- promoting the home as required
Candidates must be registered nurses with previous experience of managing a large nursing home and ideally will hold the RMA or equivalent.
The salary for the role is negotiable depending on experience and there is also a benefits package to include pension and private healthcare.
