There are millions of elderly people in the UK who can no longer live alone and there are also tens of thousands of families struggling to cope with the burden of caring for their elderly loved ones.
A further 800,000 people suffer from dementia, a progressive condition which requires care from highly trained professionals. Every last one of these people deserves the best possible attention and care. At Coate Water Care, we are passionate about providing the individualized care people need.
Over the last two decades we have earned an outstanding reputation amongst our peers – from local councils and hospitals to doctors and nurses. Our seven Care Homes in Swindon, Wiltshire, Gloucester, Warwickshire and Worcestershire are housed in bespoke buildings that are constantly updated and boast the most modern facilities – from digital tracking of patient medication to physiotherapy equipment to energy saving Bio-mass boilers.
Our staff are the key ingredient in the delivery of great care. That is why we make sure we employ only the best people and then we train them to the most exacting standards. We ask a lot of our employees but in return we offer good working conditions and opportunities to progress with us as we grow. Training is ongoing in order to maintain high levels of performance and to comply with all legislation. All managers at Coate Water Care have achieved or are working towards their Registered Managers Award. Our chefs are all qualified in NVQ 2 Hospitality and Professional Catering, RSPH Level 2 Food safety in catering, and Food Hygiene Safety.
