HCT is proud to be an important part of the NHS.
The Trust employs 3,000 people and is responsible for delivering a wide range of community health services across Hertfordshire. We serve the communities of Broxbourne, Dacorum, East Herts, Hertsmere, North Herts, St Albans, Stevenage, Three Rivers, Watford and Welwyn/Hatfield. We also provide children's specialist community services in West Essex – part of a neighbouring county.
The Trust has a strong reputation for delivering high quality treatment and care to some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, as well as engaging well with staff and supporting their own health and wellbeing. In July 2015 the Trust was listed in the Top 100 of best places to work in the NHS – the only NHS organisation in Hertfordshire featured in the rankings.
Here at HCT our success is based on the quality of the services we provide, whether that's on the frontline or in a support role. Everyone in our team plays a vital role in making sure patients receive the care they deserve, as well as maintaining our reputation as NHS trust passionate about the community it serves.
