Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust - Recruitment

Overview

Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust provides mental health and social care services for Kent in partnership with Kent County Council. In Medway, we work closely with the local unitary authority to provide joined-up health and social care services.

As one of the larger mental health trusts in the country, we cover an area of 1,450 sq miles and serve 1.7 million people across Kent and Medway. Our annual revenue is £178 million and we employ 3,318 staff and 228 seconded staff who are located in 83 buildings on 47 sites.

Our services are predominantly provided around key urban centres including Maidstone, Medway and Canterbury, but we provide a range of services in community locations, reflecting the urban and rural mix of the area. The Trust has also introduced telemedicine to enhance accessibility.

Since April 2013, the former Primary Care Trusts have been replaced by eight Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) which commission the majority of services that we provide.

Careers

The CQC have rated us as an ‘Outstanding’ organisation for Caring with an overall rating of ‘Good’.  We believe in changing lives through giving excellent care that improves people’s mental health. Whether you are a nurse, health support worker or non-clinical professional now is a great time to be part of the KMPT family and join our ‘Outstanding’ team.

We want to attract more safe, skilled, competent and motivated nurses so we can continue providing the highest standards of care. We employ around 3,300 colleagues, ranging from doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to corporate support staff.
