Job Description

Newcross Healthcare are continuing to expand and grow as a company who provide high quality care to our service users in line with our Philosophy of Care. Due to this period of growth we are looking to recruit experienced and dedicated Care Assistants HCA to work through our local branch with nursing home and residential clients in Bolton and the surrounding areas.

If you're looking for flexible day, night or weekend shifts and the chance to choose your own rota with the added support of a permanent contract, guaranteed hours and a local line manager, this is the job for you!

For a limited time, we are also offering a free DBS check and uniform when you join our team.



The Position

Working as a Nursing Home Care Assistant means you will be involved in ensuring each resident receives an excellent standard of care that meets their personal care plan. Personal care could include: dressing, washing, toileting and enabling service users to live their daily lives as they choose. You will play an essential role in enabling residents to live fulfilling lives, partaking in their favourite activities and interacting with their families, visitors and other residents.

We're looking for naturally compassionate people with a true vocation for providing care. You will play an essential part in delivering great quality, person-centred care to every service user you encounter. This means recognising the capabilities of each person, promoting their dignity at all times and seeing them as more than just a care plan.

It would be advantageous for you to have access to your own vehicle for this role however it is not a concrete requirement.

Person Specification

You will need to have the right to legally live and work in the UK, at least 3 months previous paid care experience in the UK and suitable referee contact details to apply for this vacancy. You will also need a valid certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course.

If you have an NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or currently work in a care assistant job, you could be fast tracked through our recruitment process.
