Flexible Care Assistant Job Vacancy, Inverness

Job Description

We have several flexible vacancies for experienced, committed Care Assistants to work full or part time hours in the local area through our friendly Inverness branch.

This is a permanent, flexible role so you can choose short or long days, nights or weekend shifts. For example, you can work regular shifts to accommodate family needs or vary when you work to fit an off-duty rota, it’s your choice.

The Care Assistant Job Role:

You will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care. Daily tasks may include assisting with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and enabling clients to participate in their favourite activities.

We provide care to a range of settings from acute, hospital and ward environments to care, nursing and residential homes, so it’s essential you have experience in at least one of these. Experience of caring for those with dementia is highly desirable.

We take pride in the quality of our care, so we’re looking for experienced healthcare assistants with a genuine, caring approach as well as the skills to deliver person-centred care.

In order to be considered for this job you will need the following:


  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs.
  • SSSC registered or you must be able to commit to registering when you join our team
  • NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care highly preferable
