Job Description

We currently have a job vacancy for an experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our Worcester branch team working in the Bewdley area in local care, nursing and residential homes. 

Work days, nights or weekends, plus - get paid weekly!

The Healthcare Assistant Job:

You will play a vital role in delivering great quality, person-centred care to every individual you encounter. This means recognising the capabilities of the person, promoting their dignity and seeing them as more than just a care plan.

It is essential that you are confident in your ability to work in a calm, reassuring manner, putting the service users at the center of all you do. This could include a range of tasks and activities such as personal care, domestic tasks and general activities that allow that individual to live their life in the way they choose. 

You will champion the needs of those in your care, tailoring your approach to each individual and providing care in line with their unique care plan.

Previous dementia care experience is highly desirable for this role.

To apply for this job you will need the following:


  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care or nursing home in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs.

  • A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course


If you have an NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or currently work in a care assistant job, you could be fast tracked through our recruitment process.
