Clinical Lead / Senior Nurse  -

£1,000 Welcome Bonus + Re-location Assistance if Required.

Salary : (£32,448 to £38,896)
Hours : Full Time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday
Location : Chorleywood Herts

My clients Nursing Home is a 27 bedded Nursing Home caring for elderly residents with a variety of nursing needs, including nursing care, continuing care, respite care and palliative care. It is a charming period house that has been converted and extended to provide modern accommodation and opened as a nursing home in 1992.

I am currently recruiting for a Clinical Lead / Senior Nurse who will be expected to work on the floor as a Nurse in charge to lead the staff team and promote clinical excellence alongside the Home Manager. There will also be the opportunity to deputise in the manager’s absence. This is an ideal role for a Nurse who is looking for the next step up. A kind, respectful and caring attitude must be upheld at all times.

Job Requirements


  • Right to work in the UK
  • Registered Nurse with active NMC Pin number
  • A car driver (preferable but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be commercially aware
  • Be able to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues and key professionals
  • Understanding of the care needs of elderly people
  • Understanding of the National Care Standards & role of CQC
  • Understanding of the Health and Safety Act
  • Ability to risk manage and identify improvement areas in a care home setting
  • Someone who is innovative and is a team player
  • Management experience
