A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen at our busy Urgent Care Centre at Rochdale Infirmary for a Clinical Tracker to work as part of our dynamic team. The Urgent Care Centre is a fast paced environment that sees and treats wide range of minor illness and injury in both children and adults.
Our team is committed to providing a safe effective service and thrives to deliver a positive patient experience. We are looking to recruit a positive, enthusiastic and motivated individual to assist in the facilitation of efficient patient flow within the department. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be flexible in your approach to ensure we maintain high quality service delivery to our patient population. You will need previous experience as a healthcare support worker working within a fast paced environment.
It will be a dual clinical and clerical role which will involve working closely with the shift team leader tracking a patient’s journey through the department. You will be expected to have an overview of the department ensuring timely request and review of investigations is carried out in order to meet Urgent Care Access Targets. The role will also include assisting with clinical duties as a healthcare support worker to provide safe effective patient-centered care.
