Are you interested in an exciting opportunity to be a Band 5 practitioner in the ward area of our Day Surgery Unit? Would you like to be part our busy and dedicated Day Surgery team at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH), Bromley, part of Kings College Hospital NHS Trust?
The Alan Cummings Day Surgery Unit at the PRUH, Bromley is made up of 6 theatres, a 30 bedded ward and 2 pre assessment rooms which operate Monday to Friday, in a variety of specialities including general surgery, urology, orthopaedics, ENT, dental surgery and ophthalmology. The unit caters to both adult and paediatric patients.
We are looking for an experienced registered children’s nurse to work within our ward area. The post holder will be integral to supporting the paediatric service in Day Surgery and maintaining high standards. Previous experience or placement within a theatre setting is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Experience of caring for adults is also desirable as this will form part of the role, but your adult nursing skills will be supported though our Practice Development team.
In turn we will offer you the ability to advance your skills and aim to provide you with a high standard of training both in the clinical area through our practice development team and through our Kings Partners higher education institutions.
