Employment Coach – London - £23,500 to £28,800 per annum – Full Time Permanent.

Our client is currently recruiting to the post of Employment Coach to support clients with a history of offending back into employment. Working in partnerships with employers the role will involve brokering suitable roles and supporting clients into suitable employment.

The Role


  • Provide an efficient, professional and comprehensive ‘frontline’ recruitment service
  • Generate employment opportunities through brokerage for ex-offender candidates
  • Build and maintain a diverse network of local employers
  • Effectively generate referral candidates of ex-offenders for employment by growing a first class network of local referral sources for candidates
  • Actively manage caseload of ex-offenders to start and sustain employment enabling them to achieve transformational change
  • Promote the company’s model of real work in breaking the cycle of re-offending


  • Proven experience of working on welfare to work, justice or similar outcome-based employment or training contracts
  • Proven work experience as a recruiter or employment coach to excluded groups
  • Demonstrable track record in cultivating networks to achieve targeted outcomes
  • Proven experience of engaging, managing and supporting candidates to enter and sustain employment
  • Demonstrable sales and/or negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting candidates to build employment actions plans, generate CVs, complete job applications and prepare for interviews
  • Good IT skills with particular knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • First class time management and organisational skills
