Job Description

The Finance Cashier is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing all receipts; payment allocation and reconciliation on a daily basis. 

The Finance Cashier post is a full time and permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary package dependent upon candidate experience. This role is based in our Prestatyn offices, North Wales. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for ePDQ daily download and payment allocation processes

  • To be responsible for BACS and Cheques processing and payment allocation on a daily basis including correct and accurate reporting

  • To be responsible for reviewing the HCA remittance mailbox and take the necessary actions to ensure that payment notification are managed and completed within 48 hours of receipt

  • To be responsible for review and processing of unallocated cash including follow ups with payors; accurate on and  reconciliation of “B” suspense accounts

Skills and Experience

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Good communication skills - Telephone and Letter Writing

  • GCSE or above including Maths and English

  • An understanding of Patient Administration procedures is desirable

  • Previous Cashiering experience is desirable
