We have several job vacancies for experienced Healthcare Assistants to work with our clients in the Dover area through our friendly Canterbury branch.

You will be delivering the exceptional quality of care for which Newcross is renowned, to residents who have varying care requirements and is in line each resident’s personalised care plan. You will be providing care that supports life activities, enabling people to live as independently as possible, as well as caring for people who have nursing and/or dementia care needs up to 24 hours a day.

You should have at least 3 months' experience in a similar role within a care environment, be committed to quality of care, promoting client independence and improving well-being.

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs

  • A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course
