Job Description

Job Title Guest Service Manager - North East England - Care Homes

Town Sunderland

County Tyne & Wear

Salary £25 - £30K

Sector Elderly

A brand new, exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for someone from a Hotel/Estate Agent background to join a well-established and highly thought or private provider of care homes.

Bright Selection Ltd is delighted to be exclusively supporting this delightful healthcare provider in its latest piece of recruitment; they are actively looking to appoint a Guest Services Manager to work across a portfolio of care homes across the North East of England.

This is a brand new role and my client is interested in speaking with candidates that are not necessarily from the care sector; someone who has worked within hotel services from an estate agent would be highly desirable.

Remuneration is c£25 - £30K plus expenses.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • To act as a key member of staff within the portfolio and play a pivotal role working alongside the senior management team, including the Estates Manager, to provide effective marketing and networking activity.
  • Promoting the homes as a quality service in a sought after setting.
  • Reporting directly to the MD.
  • The appointee has to have an independent "eyes open" approach to ensure the homes are presented in the best possible light in respect of all aspects whilst taking into account the care operational side of the home.
  • This role is more about high quality presentation of the homes than the care service provided by the portfolios care teams.

Essential criteria:

  • The appointee has to have an independent "eyes open" approach to ensure the homes are presented in the best possible light in respect of all aspects whilst taking into account the care operational side of the home.
  • Sales and marketing experience.
  • Face-to-face customer service experience.

Essential Values:

  • Adaptability
  • Compassion
  • Courage
  • Empathy
  • Imagination
  • Integrity
  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Treating people with dignity

Benefits include:

  • Pension
  • Free Parking

If you fit the criteria above then please contact Neil Horwood at Bright Selection. A full job spec will be provided for all short-listed candidates.
