The Hospital Care Coordinator enables Bupa UK Customer to improve member outcomes and experience. The role focusses on ensuring that Bupa inpatients admitted to selected London Hospitals are cared for at the appropriate level of care and for the clinically appropriate length of stay. The Hospital Care Coordinator also supports the hospital with timely, efficient and sustainable discharge of the member.
The role requires utilisation of excellent clinical skills and experience in an acute setting. You will be supported by a clinically based and internationally recognised software package when reviewing Bupa inpatients. . You will make decisions around the clinically appropriate levels of care and length of stay following accurate review of clinical records, consideration of the software outcomeand engagement with the relevant care providers, including Clinicians.
