We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 6 Operating Theatre (Plastics & Reconstructive Scrub) Practitioner to join the perioperative team at one of our leading NHS Trust clients, based in Central London (Travelcard Zone 1).
This is a full-time role but this Trust is open to hearing from practitioners seeking to negotiate a part-time opportunity; however, fixed hours cannot be guaranteed.
Our client is a major NHS Trust in Central London; treating a wide range of complex conditions, and working with many of the country’s eminent Consultant surgeons and other healthcare specialists.
The prestigious hospital is located in the metropolitan core of the capital, with excellent rail and underground connections.
Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with full registration with the NMC or HCPC.
At least two years' Band 5 scrub experience; with experience in taking charge of the individual Theatre suite and supervision and mentorship of junior Practitioners, Support Workers and Students.
A recognised Teaching & Assessing/Mentorship and/or a Post-graduate Theatre qualification.
Good communication skills and willingness to work in a flexible environment will be essential.
